Windows

Compatible with a large range of computers, running Windows 7 or higher.
AMD64 binaries require a minimum cpu architecture of Nehalem (Intel) or Jaguar (AMD)
Users of older processors may have to compile their own builds from source code.

Linux

It is preferred that Linux users compile from source code - this results in a binary that is optimised for your specific hardware configuration.
We don't provide official Linux binaries ourselves, but some helpful third parties maintain ares packages.

macOS

These binaries require macOS 10.9 (Mavericks) or later with Intel or Apple Silicon.
These are Universal Binaries that will run natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
